I am very impressed with my purchase, only thing to do now is to build my Blu Ray collection up! Its a lovely player, plays everything I've tried on it so far. Would highly recommend!

first class product, (no need to have gold plated connections) at the perfect price compared to high street shops, arrived on time, well protected, this was the length I required for connecting my blue-ray DVD to plasma HD TV

ordered a basic hdmi cable as i am a firm believer of ones and zeros and don,t see the point in spending 10`s of pounds for a cable that`s going to do the same thing. All in all it works and the picture to me is superb!.

Does exactly what it says for a fraction of the price of other cables. I have no complaints with this product what-so-ever and would recommend it to anybody.

An affordable alternative

You can pay up to £20 for a HDMI cable, but the amazon basics cable provides a reasonable alternative with no noticeable functionality differences bet the aforementioned and a high quality cable from Belkin.

I always believed Amazon dose s good job delivering stuff in time and with out fail. But for t he first time I bought a Amazon product. Got what I wanted cheap and sturd. Nothing more than whats required out of a cable and not less than whats expected. So great work Amazon.

Bottom line is, it will do the job it's supposed to do.But they are right to call it basic.Very thin cable.

Interference displaying photographs

Having connected my laptop to the tv using the expensive HDMI cable from the tv receiver, I got crystal clear great results for reviewing photographs. I looked to get a longer cable for more regular use. This looked like a good option reading the reviews but I am disappointed with the result. There is definite interference on the pictures (like you used to get on tv when presenters wore checked jackets). Packaging was great, but with the cable, like most things, you get what you pay for.

Hard to comment, but I am using it in my bedroom with SKY HD and LG 22" tv. Received it free with Sony DVD Player but it works well for me.
