Apple iPod Socks - 6 different colours

Now wonder these iPod socks are half cheaper than usually (they cost cca 20£) as I found they're not genuine Apple product... I can tell that because I've got the original ones, too. The differences are minor (actually it's a good fake), but still: it's not what it says in product description. But if you're not concerned about such thing - smart buy.

These are a great way to protect phones and ipods. I love the colours and because of the amount you get i have given a couple to friends.

Im at school all day and they are too big to fit through the letterbox. I ordered mine a while ago (longer than 3 weeks ago) and they STILL havent turned up. Just go to zavvi or hmv and buy some.

I don't know why people are talking about them scratching, not had any probs with that but then I do have a classic which is mostly metal. I think they're great,a nice simple way to protect your ipod & it means you don't get a nice piece of apple design and then encase it in a bulky anorak case. Plus you get six, so I've given a few away too. If I'm sitting at a table or syncing or something I tend to use the sock as a sort of 'mattress' to put the ipod on to protect the back. It kind of cleans the ipod a bit too. I really like them, they're a nice simple solution, I have a similar thing for my ds. One thing though... remember not to stick your ipod in your pocket upside down! once the sock has stretched a bit the ipod can work its way out if its upside down.

I bought a pack of these, wondering what I would do with the spares, but they are now all being used! They're a great, simple item! They are simply a ribbed, knitted sock that an ipod nano (1st & 2nd generation) easily slips into (it fits nicely but can also slip out if you hold it upside down), not taking up any extra space but saving your ipod from scratches in your pocket or bag. Much less cumbersum than a leather case I have. They also stretch to fit larger ipods. But then I realised my mobile phone was getting scratched, and even found that my new digital camera (which is a normal-sized compact camera) fits nicely! Which is great because it is much smaller to carry in an ipod sock than in the big case I bought with it! If you have a few electical gadgets I'd recommend using these on everything! The colours may be a bit girly though, but they at least have the apple logo on a little tag on the side, so don't look too geeky! These would be great for kids too (for phones or ipods) as they refuse to look uncool or have anything too sensible! These are also just thick enough that they'd soften the blow slightly if the item was dropped on the floor!

i was actually incredibly fortunate and FOUND my ipod sock on the ground in a car park... when i got it home i put it through the wash, dried it out and slipped my nice new ipod nano into it nice and snug... now, when i got my ipod i was very cautious about using it without protective casing so i bought one of the triple-pack 'iSkin' sets off amazon. first of all i found the iSkin fantastic! compared to a lot of the other bulky cases and protective covers i looked at before buying i was so pleased with the product because it comes with both a silicon/rubbery cover AND a hard plastic cover, both of which fit tightly onto the ipod itself. infact with the iSkin on, the difference in size isn't all that great and obviously the screen is protected as is the surface of the ipod. now that i can put my already protected ipod INTO my ipod-sock i've found it wonderful for basically just adding another layer of protection. it helps protect against dust, scratches and just adds more padding to my ipod. i definately feel that the sock itself isn't sufficient and i doubt i'd have initially gone out and bought a sock for the high prices that i've seen them... but in a sale or on a good offer i'd definately recommend both the iSkin triple-pack set AND the iSock as a combination to provide the best care for your ipod without ruining the modern quality of its unique size and weight. hope this helps!

Like some of the other reviewers here, I loved the idea of my iPod having its own 'sock', and I was fed up with all the iPod cases that are so bulky and look so unattractive, so I decide to give these a whirl. There have apparently been instances of these socks actually scratching the iPod (which is absolutely crazy - didn't Apple even bother to test them?) so I would definitely recommend investing in a stick-on screen protector before using these. There's no denying this is a cute idea and they also look very cute when you're iPod's snuggled inside them. However, they are almost totally impractical. They offer almost no protection if you knock or drop your iPod. You can't use the click wheel without removing the sock, which is incredibly inconvenient. They sometimes leave specks of fluff on the iPod's surface. They are ridiculously expensive for what they are. Need I go on? The socks do have one use, actually. If you keep your iPod in a dock when you're charging or importing, you can fit one of these over the top end and it will keep it relatively clean. However, overall I would recommend trying to resist the cuteness factor and going for something less attractive but more practical to keep your iPod safe.

Right this is a good offer it self i love the colours because u know I'm a teenager (on my mum's username) and I like which ever mood I'm in a like to change the colour of my iPod I even wear the pink one and I'm not a fan of PINK! anyway Price Way too much I understand because it was apple wasn't expecting it to be £10 but at least £15 but good product I would recomend it if its in SALE!
