Good to see them again.. What a pleasure to see the cast of As Time Goes By again.
All a little bit older and many with tired eyes, but even Rocky made an appearance, looking a lot older and rather thinner. Frank Middlemass, who played Rocky, died just under one year later, aged 87.
I had missed them so much that even two more episodes, as this edition consists of was enough to settle us down and relax us, so that we could enjoy the doings of the Holland Park mob again.
Do buy it, it's well worth owning this sequel....

Time might go by - but this humour lasts forever. I have collected all the atgb series and chronologically they get better and better. Culminating in the reunion specials. A superb DVD with Larbey at his best. A leading contender for the best series of all time.

Brit Comedy At It's Best!. In this great series Bob Larbey reaches his peak as a comedy script writer and his long experience shows. These two specials are a must see, and more than once. The dream scene arising from Jean getting broody for grandchildren is a classic. An hour and a half of laughter. Not to be missed.

Not Available on DVD in US yet!. I just finished watching this delightful special on our Public Television channel. I am so sad that we here in the US cannot purchase a DVD that will play in our region. Judi Dench is a national treasure. She's absolutely marvelous in everything she does but I especially love her in As Time Goes BY. The special is as well written and acted as the series. You Brits are so lucky to be able to buy and watch the bloopers and outtakes. Maybe it will be available here in the US next year. I sure hope so.
