Great piece of honest Rock `n`Roll. RT are very much in the same mould as AC/DC. One Rythm guitar, One slide guitar, bass, drums & vocals. No thrills just good honest Hard Rock/Metal. The songs tend to deal with real life as opposed to AC/DC`s lyrical style. The nearest AC/DC album would be Powerage in terms of general feel of the Tatts albums. There`s some great songs here. "Out Of This Place" "Assault & Battery" "Magnum Maid" "Rock`n`Roll Is King" "Sidewalk Sally" "Suicide City" all good thumping hard felt rockers that`ll have your head bouncing up & down to the beat whilst playing air guitar. It`s a great shame there arn`t any bands like this around anymore [ with the exception of Rhino Bucket ] as this shows how Hard Rock/Metal really should be done. Great stuff Go Buy !

High class music by a low class band. There are insufficient superlatives to apply to this band. For magnificent stripped down RAWK! music carried by the best slide guitar work ever recorded buy this, buy this... BUY THIS! Not just a band but an attitude. Just pretend Angry Anderson, the lead singer, never recorded Jason and Kylies wedding song for Neighbours and this is perfect.

A fine slice of Aussie rock. If you like early AC/DC, then you will like this. Most tracks are fairly fast and furious, straightforward rock very much in the AC/DC mould. Angry Anderson certainly helps the inevitable comparison of Rose Tattoo to their more famous countrymen with his Bon Scott-like vocals. Personal favorites on this album are Rock 'n' Roll is King and Chinese Dunkirk for their (slightly) more elaborate guitar work but there aren't any weak tracks here. For those with a liking for no frills rock music with a good thumping beat to get feet and heads moving should check this one out.
