I got this item several years ago for christmas (I was about 13), I was so excited when I went to try it out - I'd tried so many times to braid all of my hair myself. Well, It worked! Usually you buy things like this and they don't work. However, be warned - make sure you take time to comb and separate your hair properly into sections, otherwise the brading happens too fast and you end up with one big tangled mess (takes ages to untangle!).It does take a while to get used to clipping the hair in the little metal bits, and the beads that you get included are useless on thick hair - get some nice tiny elastic hairbands instead.Also, the braiding of the whole head will still take centuries to do, but the braids do look very nice and tight when done properly.All in all a good item, 3 out of 5. |
