Good family entertainment. Delightful fantasy from the Spielberg stable which will have you laughing and crying at the same time. Nothing new in the central plot, multi-million dollar corporation trying to impose their will on the poor man, but Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy put in a wonderful performance, dealing with the (long ago) loss of their son in the main sub plot.
Special effects are up to scratch, and at times appear almost human emotionally.
Perfect for those sunday afternoons when the family are rained in.

Cute at best. It is probably worth viewing once. For those who notice background music the composer is James Horner.An old couple (Hume Cronyn, Jessica Tandy) won't move from a dilapidated building that the big bad agent wants to demolish for something profitable. A thug is hired to harass the couple and destroy the property. Tiny aliens that have a knack for fixing things thwart the thug's efforts.Sort of a fairy tale with aliens replacing Heinselmachen.

Pure Enjoyment at its very best. If you want Fun, Laughter, Tears and joy, bringing back your childhood, with beautiful acting by Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn, then this is the video for you. This video is a must for bringing back happiness into your life, a video to be kept for life..!!!!
