Don't buy this unless you only have belkin gear. I read all the reviews, saw the price and thought I'd get it to work - eventually. Everyone else seems to have suffered but have kindly shared their experiences, so I was bound to be fine.... WRONG. After following all the advice found on the pages of these reviews (and of the F5D7132 - which I hadn't realised at this stage was a different product) it still didn't work. I eventually accepted defeat and contacted Belkin. They tried to fob me off and say that I had done everything right, it was a problem with my Netgear wireless router (never had a problem before). They eventually put me through to a senior advisor, who told me flatly that this product only works with a Belkin router. For other manufacturers you need a F5D7132. So it's back to the seller with my 7130. The only question is, do I dare try the 7132??????

It works!. First of all when setting this up connect it to your PC via ethernet cable and set it up that way. Ignore the 'simple press of a button' blurb they feed you. If your network is protected, as most of ours are, then the one touch doesn't work. Once you're set up however it works very well. Previously I only had 1 bar of signal upstairs but now since positioning the extender I now have full 5 bars. It hasn't dropped out yet, unlike it's Belkin wireless router brother, but that's another review!
Overall a very good product that does what it says, just be prepared for a bit of setting up grief.

Probems with a F5D 7632uk4 wireless router. This item will only work with a 7632 router if you buy two units. The sales literature on this site does not state this, if you check the manufacturers sales literature it leads you to believe this is a standard add on, but if you check the details (not easy to find!) or if you contact Belkin, they will tell you to buy two or upgrade your wireless router to an ADSL2 unit.Seems a bit pointless...........................

Belkin makes it easy. I've had this Belkin product for approx. 6 months connected to a Linksys modem. It is easy to set up and when you've got wi-fi,you wonder how you got by without it.Very good value.I also bought the Belkin USB wireless adaptor and the connection speed, between the two,is superb.

Excellent!. Had this product for about a year now, took about 5 minutes to setup (make sure you have the latest firmware from www.belkin.com and not www.belkin.co.uk) I orignally only had 11b on all of my networks I bought this as an add on (Not from Amazon) and it extended my wireless network coverage as well as allowing my 11g networks to connect at the same time with 11b, had not 1 single problem and had it about a year now.Works perfectly! I would recommend this to anyone who already has a network and is looking to extend its network coverage or someone who wants to upgrade to 11g!5/5
