Is a good product. Is a good product I've installed the update in the first time that I conected to the internet via this router and so far is working fine.
Is very fast from 2.2mbs I went to 54mbs Internet speeds ,very impressive
I have some concerns regarding this product temperatures it runes hot and is advisable to keep this router in a cool place as far as possible from the home heatings. In my opinion there is security problems if I set the password security is quite difficult to have access to the router even when you put the correct password . the only type of security that I was able to get is the MAC security - I specified the Mac addresses which allow only the specified computers to have access to this router.

Belkin Vs AOL. Although not on AOL's recommended list it was still compatable with them. Speed was great to start with but as soon as i had problems AOL would blame Belkin, so after trying free phone number on box nothing. Tried 08456077767 option 2 option 1 got through to India hot line very helpfull. Wrote everthing down and ref number(top tip you'll need to) great, more crashes later more to write down untill you can cut to the chase (remember your on local rate) and say done that tried this still doesn't work to a level 2 technician then he authorizes a replacement. Moral of story use Netgear with AOL no problems for 8 months just a bit slow.

Not worth taking out of the box. Our knowledgeable computer engineer spent hours trying to configure this router on our new PC, he simply narrowed all the problems down to the router simply being the cause. We eventually managed to access the Internet using this router, however it would only visit certain websites and not others. The laptop wouldn't even recognise this rotuer. He then recommended that I go out and purchase a Netgear router which are more expensive however they actually work! He then opened it up and set it up in the way of a computer expert and it was complete after minutes (both the wired and wireless networks).
Do not purchase this piece of junk, get a NETGEAR instead which will actually work.

A GOOD Product. I bought one of these units and was pleased that it took no time at all to set up. It replaced a Cable and Wireless Router which was a dam nuisance to set up and KEEP connected. Everything was fine until I came to connect up a new Acer Laptop with Vista SP1 as the O.S (wireless). My works laptop with XP can connect up o/k with security but the Acer with Vista connects up fine till you apply security--then it looses the internet. This appears to be a problem with Vista SP1 as many other laptop users have the same problem. More digging on the net will be needed to solve the problem.

Works fine for about 12 months. I have been using this product for about 12 months with no real problems. Recently, however, it has started crashing on pages with only moderate amounts of multimedia making it very difficult to use. Belkin support was, frankly, pretty useless - they repeatedly asked me to make the same changes to the settings that I'd already tried - they seemed incapable of handling a 'non-standard' problem. The device is obviously faulty as other wireless routers in the area (naughty, naughty) work fine and so does my old USB modem. Belkin, however, seem reluctant to admit this. My advice: buy this unit if your useage is light and keep your fingers crossed.
