Does what it needs to.. I bought this mainly because it came with a 2m cable, which saved a few mouse clicks when placing the order.
It is now in service in an old PIII '98 machine to allow that machine to share an internet connection from my AirPort enabled MacBook. The whole thing was pretty easy to set up - a others have noted, you will need your Win 98 CD to hand if using that OS. Drivers installed no problem - usual Windows restart required, and away. Connection sharing was straightforward enough to set up.
No complaints for £6.

Installed without a hitch. Installed into an ancient 133MHz Pentium box running Slackware Linux without a problem. Supported by the native Linux driver and 100Mbps data transfers observed.
A quality and cost-effective product that I can thoroughly recommend to those looking for a NIC card for an old and/or Linux-running system.

Does the job. Ideal for the job, much better than a USB to Ethernet by this it is a breeze to install
Customer Review 3
Excellent, and easy.... Opened the case, plugged it in, started up and was connected in about 5 minutes. Xp detects it and automatically installs, other op systems need the disk. Operates at 100Mbs, works great and has the facility for Wake on Lan. Can't fault it.

It does the job. Installing the driver required me to dig out my Windows 98 CD which was a bit annoying, but other than that it works well. It comes with a WOL (wake on LAN) connecter which i didn't install, but it still works fine (as expected). In summary, its OK. Just make sure you have your Windows CD to hand if the required files are missing on your system.
