Superb Speaker System. Totally amazing sound quality in a neat package. The sub-woofer is a bit on the big side but is designed to go on the floor under the desk - so the size doesn't really matter - this also means that the wires and the fact that it isn't shielded doesn't matter either. The only down side is that they are packaged in quite a large box so getting them delivered to work if you have to travel home by public transport could pose a bit of a problem. Well worth it though. Buy them, you won't be disapointed!

Buy this you wont regret. First of all thanks to amazon and parcelforce for excellent tracking and spot on delivery.about the speakers, i can't say anything as i still can't wipe the smile off my face. i can't believe that these are multimedia speakers and not proper home theater setup. the system just doesn't run out of breath. it got loud enough to back off but the speakers kept going on as it was nothing. highly recommended for pure music pleasure. just take the plunge like all of us and go for them....... all these reviews can't be wrong.

Fantasic. Got the speakers today and they're good. Clarity of sound is superb and nothing is lost by pumping up the volume. Subwoofer is bigger than I thought but an excellent design. Wired remote is fantastic, no batteries and full of settings to play with. Speakers are perfect size, gorgeous design and the stands are another lovely feature, even the remote has it's own little stand. In a nutshell everything is well thought out and quality is written all over so why give it 4 stars rather than 5? The subwoofer isn't magnetically shielded, I assumed because the speakers were the subwoofer would be too, doesn't make a difference to monitors unless it's within about 6 inches but still, it looses a star for that. Otherwise top notch sound quality, performance, design and creativity, NOT dissapointed.

High quality 2.1 speakers. These speakers are incredibly powerful. Crystal clear audio, HUGE bass, elegant design and THX certifcation to add a bit of class. i use the speakers with practically everything and once you hear the quality, ull never go back to the standard inferior 5w speakers that came bundeled with your PC/notebook!The good: deceptively small satellite speakers,amazingly clear music,powerful bass, neat little remote, simple modern design, audio inputs for other musical devices....excellent value for moneyThe bad: the subwoofer is enormous, plenty of wire clutter even though its a 2.1 speaker systemalso note that i would highly recommend using the speakers in conjunction with sound blaster series cards to make the most out of the speakers. in conclusion , the cambridge soundworks megaworks THX 250D is the undisputed king of 2.1 speaker systems!
