Nicely Designed. Bought this for my 7 year old son, who mastered it straight away with no need for explanantion, other than how to upload files. He listens to audiobooks mainly, though he likes a bit of Queen too, and the sound quality and volume from the speaker is just unbelieveable! I was expecting a tinny sound, but it is surprisingly good.
The radio is okay if you use are able to position the headphone cord just so, though it is no worse than any other portable device with a radio I've had, including my old Walkman from about 15 years ago.
My son loves it to bits and it charges very quickly from the USB connection and seems to do between 7 - 10 hours between charges, depending on how high the volume is and how long you set the screen to be on. It also came with a clip and silicon skin that I was surprised to see in the packet.
The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because I'd like to be able to make it play just a single folder, rather than everything that's loaded, as my son often goes to sleep listening to it and I end up hearing it at 3am and turning it off! Minor stuff though, and Creative have always had this feature on all of their small memory based players.

Great! - when it works.... Received this and followed the instructions to the letter; it was charged for the correct length of time prior to use. It worked fine the first time, the sound was great and the functions easy to use. However, then I went to turn it on for the second time....hmmm, after ten minutes I gave up, and that's been the story ever since. I sent the first player back and received a second one after some time - I couldn't believe it, it suffered exactly the same problem and has now been binned. This is the most temperamental piece of equipment I've ever used. It is essentially useless. If I take it on the bus to work I can spend the whole 30min journey trying to get it to turn on, another time it will work first time; but not very often. It is totally frustrating and I'm obviously not the only person to find this problem infuriating. You might be lucky and get a 5 star one which works, but I've received 2 duds, don't waste your money.

Good MP3 Player. Got this in 2007 about a year ago now and it worked for a whole year I went on holiday to different countries and I took it with me it survived all that to so its tough. Everything works on it fine its small and light and simple to use. It very easy to put music on it and to delete music. The only thing that's bad about it is the USB cable you get with it is very short and sadly mine broke a few weeks ago I don't know why but Ive bought the newer version now.

Great little gadget. Got this a couple of days ago and very pleased with it. My wife has the basic Zen Stone, which is a little difficult to use as it doesn't have a display (I have the Zen Vision M also - I find Creative's media players easy to use and sound great). This does, plus a little speaker on the rear (which you can turn off) which sounds surprisingly decent. Headphones are OK but the unit sounds very good and full with a pair of Sennheiser CX300s. Comes with a translucent skin which allows full use of the controls and allows you to see the display. The skin has a removable clip allowing easy attachment to clothes. Also has an equaliser with 5 bands plus radio. Very good value.

Stop Carping !! You Sound Like A Bunch of Celts. For it's size & cost, this is a good piece of kit. I've had mine for over a year now & I love it. I prefer this on a Air journey than the music provided by the airline. The sound reproduction through the small headphones & from such a tiny item is wonderful. But then i am only a 73 year old dinosaur. Who is still YOUNG enough to marvel at modern technology. Christ! I remember as a boy having to take the wireless accumulaters to the local electrical shop to be re-charged every Monday after school. Stop moaning --- You don't know your born !!
