Last year's game topped the league and now the all-new FIFA 10 is looking to defend its title as the number one football action game. More realistic than ever, this latest sequel has greatly improved artificial intelligence, ball physics and graphics. Brand new this year is the 360 degree dribbling system, giving you the most precise control ever. There are also changes to how the defensive line is formed, as well as improvements to crosses, freekicks and goalkeepers (who can now receive red cards). Naturally the game retains its hugely successful on and offline multiplayer modes, with new options and better stability for online play. The manager mode has also seen a massive update to make it just as deep and complex as the main game. With all these new features and more EA Sports are betting on FIFA remaining the champions for a long time to come. Key Features Leagues better: The world's most successful football sim gets even better with improvements across the board, including physics, controls and multiplayer options. Dynamic dribble: New 360 degree dribbling control system allows for pixel perfect control of the ball at all times Football focus: Newly improved artificial intelligence ensures teammates and opponents always move with a purpose and stay focused on the ball at all times Beautiful game: Massively improved graphics, including better player likenesses, new crowd animations and new rain and snow effects that really affect the gameplay. Master manager: Greatly expanded manager mode, with a revamped experience point system and staff upgrades, a new interface and the chance to edit kit numbers.
well its by far the best game out there in every aspect its FIFA 10, what more can you say?
When i purchased FIFA 10 i was interested to see how EA Sports would develop it from Fifa 09, which was one of my favourite PS3 games. When i first played it i was amazed to see the HD graphics develop even further from the previous game and i was also surprised at how much the gameplay and the realness of the game improved so dramatically. Positives - Unbelievable graphics (HD) Great gameplay Realistic Manager mode is excellent 2 Player and Be a pro mode is also excellent Negatives - Hard to score from long range The game tends to glitch (although this happens on very rare occasions) Overall - I would 100% recommend purchasing FIFA 10 and i would also recommend you buying/playing it on a HD TV as this brings out the games best features.
The fifa series has always been my personal favorite in the football genre , and this year they have not dissapointed, EA have worked really hard this year to work on community feedback and get the fans the things they want. firstly , the graphics on fifa 10 are very good , the improvements to crowd movement , weather , the pitch , the players and the stadia have all been enhanced. the smallest details give fifa that true authenticity , a good example of this is the emirates where around the border of the stands fifa has the titles arsenal have won. the weather although brilliant , is annoying at times , the rain speeds the ball up and can also slow it down. The snow will freeze the ground and make the ball bounce higher, the effect of weather is also noticable on the players as they run around in gloves and undershirts, as well as there breath showing on cold days , and seeing the mist of rain through the floodlights creates a fantastic atmosphere. The gameplay , is the other big improvement of this version , new 360 dribbling allows you to take the ball anywhere as long as you have the skill. The game modes remain the same bar one new addition of virtual(more on that later). The game has basic kick off mode allowing a straight match between an opponent , the manager mode where you can take any of the wide array of teams through their respective leagues. there is then the virtual pro which acts as the background plot, as you create a player who you can then build up by playing him in manager mode and be a pro mode completeing challenges. be a pro mode is where you take one player in a team , or your vistual pro and attempt to take him to the world cup, every football players dream. finally the online , depending on your internet connection you should have no real problems . the only downside i have found in online is 10v10 , but that is down to other players, who no matter what there position all want to score , a great game with mates but frustrating with strangers. fifa 10 allows 4 player offline annd up to 20 online
I got this game for a gift and it has been played a lot especially now that the World Cup is on television too
Yet another bug laden game from EA Sports. Firstly, the passing system on Fifa 10 is a joke. Players do NOT pass the ball to the player that you want the ball to go to. Secondly, the player highlighted is ALWAYS the player furthest away from the ball. Passes therefore go astray a lot because the AI is scandalous. You can tell that those responsible for this travesty are not football people. Avoid at all costs.
I bought this as a birthday gift for my yonger brother (well by younger i mean 24!) so i'm not able to tell you exactly how i feel about the game but i did speak to him to ask him how he enjoyed it and i was told that, the graphics are really good and it's a really enjoyable play. So with that, and the fact that my husband now wants it i would say great buy go get it!!!! Oh, and if you do your research (like i did) you will find that Amazon is the cheapest for price, and with free delivery as well you can't go wrong
Great game. Compared with PES 2010 the level of control and realism in FIFA 10 is huge. The online part is great -- you will be matched against players with the same skill level and there is rarely any notable lag. You easily can play co-op in multiplayer too, which is great. I tried the FIFA World Cup edition and I see they sped the game up a bit (shots and player acceleration). My only complaint would by the time it takes to enter the menu from you start the game. It really seems like it could be changed from 30 seconds to 3 seconds without losing anything substantial.
FIFA 10 is by far the best football game to date. Everything is so realistic - the way the players run, tackle, even the way they push and fight for the ball. The commentators even have conversations during the game like in live matches. If you looking for a fun game that you can spend hours playing with loads of mates, this is definitely the game
Prompt delivery. Bought this game for my seven year old, he just can't do without it
Played the demo few months back and was very impressed with the game, shooting was great, passing was great, running was ok....felt like you were watching live football.......Got the full game popped it in and my face changed instantly.... its totally different from the demo. It feels sluggish and slow. The shooting is laboured, floaty and a joke. I tried to get into this game but they made it overrealistic. The acceleration of the players and the reaction time is a joke. Controls are far from sharp and have a bit of a time delay to them. I bought the game 4 days ago played it a few times and was very dissapointed. Now my brother wants to go get Pro Evolution Soccer 5 on the pS2. We want fun games that incorporate simulation. People are forgetting this is a videogame. Thats the whole point is to have fun playing it. Not get so frustrated that you break controllers over it. We want simulation YES.....but a slow boring game with rubbish shooting and laboured running, reaction, movement and pace NO PES on ps2 and ps3 was frustrating at times but you kept coming back because it was entertaining to play and slick. Now Fifa was great since 2007. But I feel they've taken a step in the wrong direction with this release. The gameplay is absolutely laboured, they tried too much to copy PES and ended up with a slow version of it. I'm not so sure they even have a shot dummy or feint and I doubt they have a super cancel like PES. This game had potential but it did not meet it. I'm now going to give the world cup game a try but have a feeling it would be more of the same with a bit of an arcade feel! I would advise you to stick to Fifa 09 or try the world cup game. This game has clubs but the gameplay is boring and slow. It feels like your watching underpaced european league football. Players take too long to react and who runs like they do in fifa. Take 5 years to get up to speed. Im not a footballer but I can assure you if I needed to get up to pace I can without much effort. Players in Fifa feel like they wont even make 100 metres in 14 seconds! "poor" unless your using Lennon! In Fifa you hit the sprint button and it feels like a freight train on the players backs. By then the defenders have caught you up. Even averagely fast players cannot run. Passing is average. Shooting is laboured so keeper has an "all day baby" chilling session in goal. I remember the shooting from Fifa 07 and 08 and also from PES 3 to 6. They really shot like they meant business. In Fifa they shoot like the keeper is their wife. Fifa dissapointed this year. Such a shame. For the hardened fifa fan you might live with it. But brand loyalty doesnt mean much,. A quality product does and Fifa is lacking in many departments. Gameplay is realistic no doubt but the games shooting, running, passing, off the ball runs need work.... Tired of shouting at the screen willing players to react quicker and make the correct movement. Come on EA, We want a fun game not an overrealistic boring one making Italian football look like pure entertainment. PES was also trash this year so both games are a let down! Like my mate said, we need a third company to release a football game that would give both complacent companies a run for their money. Why not?! Konami arent worried because they know they have hardened brand loyal fans but that just provides an average lazy product. Get your bikes out and do what your paid by us to do! Make a proper game! The next gen console market is littered with under par products....
