Kensington Si600 Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer - Presentation remote control - radio

This was reccommended to me by a colleague. When capturing an audiance, it is vital that as a presenter you can move about and engage with the audiance when using powerpoints etc. The range is great and it has a pointer facility. Well worth the purchase.

Some trainers at a recent course recommended these for presentations as having it in your hand can make you feel less nervous when presenting! This is a great product and is so easy to use. Batteries are included and all you need to do in put the memory stick device in your laptop, and away you go. What is also good is that the memory stick device can be stored inside the remote to stop you losing it.

A neat and very effective item. I have used it with a variety of PCs and the driver loads rapidly as soon as the receiver is plugged-in to a USB socket. As a result the control is ready for use almost immediately. This is important because the most nail-biting time is at the very start of a presentation.

Excellent value. Does everything I want of it, very well designed and at one quarter of the price of other, similar products.

Very happy with this. It does what you want plus a bit more. It houses the dongle so you will never lose it and it also cuts power to the device when the dongle is housed -you won't kill your batteries when carrying it around. A very good little device that will offer a more professional presentation style and a greater confidence to those that require remote PP slide control..

Purchased this remote wireless presenter recently and it is incredible value for money. It is the best one Iv'e come accross for powerpoint presentations and you can even change slides from behind a wall. A very well made and designed gadget which I would heartly recommend to anybody that does powerpoint presentaions. Put this on your shopping list if you have bought one already, you will not find a better one at this price.

So my first year of university (2009) the last thing on my mind was presentations and even further was the need for a power-point/laser pointer. How did the presentation go, to be honest they went really good, except for one thing. That awkward moment when you have to take your attention away from the audience, to look over to the person responsible for changing your slides --sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, we've all done it. Fast forward to end of my first year and now the last thing that I need to worry about is whoever is going to change my slides or coming up with some secret code for us to learn. It only has four buttons and a receiver that you plug into you pc, no set up required.. couldn't be any simpler. Additional notes: Very comfortable to hold, not too heavy/light, has a nice grip to it, and it contours to your hand. The underside has a nice matte finish to it and the top half isn't glossy so no fingerprints. Also I'm not sure if this was intentional or not but because it contours to your hand its very unlikely that you catch yourself fiddling with it because once you get it into a certain position you'll want it to stay there.

I like the simplicity and compactness of this presentation aid. I like the way the wireless receiver fits inside the hand held unit and switches the battery off. Works perfectly with PowerPoint slide shows. My only gripe is that the laser pointer button seems to be programmed to mimic a keyboard combination. When I use the laser pointer with a piece of software other than PowerPoint, I get some random dialog box appearing. Not helpful when I'm simply trying to highlight something on screen. This happens in virtually every bit of software I've used it with - Microsoft Office, SAP and others.

Worked straight out of the box, just plugged it in and worked. Like the way the USB slots into the clicker, and much better than using keypad/mouse for professional presentations.
