Queen at theyre very best. In august 1986 Queen walked off stage at Knebworth after playing theyre last ever concert. Freddie Mercury stunned the band by saying he was retiring from live performance. Later obviously it became apparent that his HIV was the cause of this.1 month earlier they played 2 sell out gigs at Wembley stadium. This is the second night & it's a fantastic gig. Queen are on top of the world playing the hits that made them famous.Hit after hit is rolled out all instantly recognisable.By this time 2 hours wasnt long enough to fit all theyre songs in but they made a good effort with this. Essential listening, get it!!!!

Magic. A fitting and excellant epitaph for the Queen of Rock bands. Brilliantly recorded and wonderfully performed. Queen will always be the best showmen. Man you just gota love this. From rockier stuff like "One Vision" & "Tie Your Mother Down" to more quieter material such as "Love Of My Life" & "...Forever" through the feel-good stuff - "Big Spender", "Tutti Frutti" - it's just a joy to listen to.What a way to go out. They ARE the Champions!

A Six Star Product!. I was fortunate enough to be at the opening gig of the 86 world tour (their last), which is one of the two gigs that this CD is compiled from. Firstly let me say that I only have one criticism, and that is that it just can't capture the feel of being there. This really is an amazing live album though. It hasn't been overdubbed in the studio like most live albums, and you can hear that in the fact that the audience singing is slightly out of time with the band due to natural delay effects from the stadium. It really is a phenomenal performance(s) though from a band at the peak of their powers. It opens with a hard-rocking performance of 'One Vision', and they don't pause for a breath until they have performed a few tracks. The tempo, style and mood change effortlessly, mainly due to Freddie Mercury's huge charisma. Things don't really slow down until 'Who Wants to Live Forever', which is preceded by a speech from Freddie Mercury that give us an inkling that perhaps he knew he was HIV positive at this time...The second disk makes things a little more laid back to start with, starting with just Freddie and Brian, then John returning, and Roger taking a mic at the front of stage. They give us a feel for some of their inspiration, and then launch back into a blistering redition of 'Tutti Frutti'.Towards the end of the gig you get what you want - all the classics, and some! This is just a fantastic live album.
