Superb quality item !. Oh my god this product is so good, my hair is thick and wavy ( very unmanagable) these straightners took me 30 mins to do my hair which normally takes hours of drying and styling ! Simple to use and bear in mind im natural blonde hehe They have a lock which locks the temperature which is best for your hair, So no checking and worring about not drying etc.. Love them will never get rid of them EVER ! Hope this is helpful to anyone !

DONT BELIEVE THEM!. I purchased the thinner version of these straighteners this week, to replace my babyliss ones that were great but sadly broke. The box for both wide and thin plated straighteners claims they are ideal for thick and curly hair, which i have- THEY ARE NOT. I could only do a very small bit of hair at a time and had to go over it many, many times to get it straight. I had recently had my hair cut and it was therefore in good condition, however after straightening my hair i realised it had given me lots of split ends, not to mention extremely static hair! I shall be contacting remington to tell them how disappointed i was (which inconveniently can only be done over the phone).
They probably work fine on hair that isn't too thick or curly, but if you do have hair like that then DO NOT BUY THESE as they will be a waste of money.

Not a happy bunny........... [[ASIN:B000SZ96LQ Remington Professional S8203 Wet 2 Straight Straightener Ideal for Thick & Curly Hair]I was looking for GHD's to replace the ones my daughter inconsiderately took with her when she moved out (yes,I do miss her as well!!)when I came across these Remington straighteners and their shining reviews.They sounded very good so I placed my order.Remington claim they are better than ordinary straighteners but this hasn't been the case for me - I have shoulder length hair so chose these rather than the slim version which are for"shorter hair",but have found these too cumbersome for my length of hair-think remington could be more specific about this.Also,they are more than twice the weight of conventional straighteners-they make my arms ache!All this would be ok if the end result was good-however,they still take quite a while to get my hair dryish and some of it is still frizzy-am now saving up for GHD's.......!!!!!!

AB FAB. I`m a hairdresser and i just bought these straightners for my own personal use. WOW. These are AB FAB. I straightened my hair yesterday it then rained & I had to go out, dreaded it as my hair then starts to wave with the damp but it didn`t. My husband & 2 sons noticed how straight my hair was & accused me of having my hair done by a professional. I`ve now slept on it & been to work all day & it was pouring with rain this morning! Nobody else will be using mine!

The search is over!. At last, after more years than I care to own up to I can finally "do something" with my hair. As a complete no-hoper with anything remotely girlie I can achieve results easily and (almost) as good as the hairdresser. The amount of hairdryers I have invested in and failed with, only to give them away. If only I'd known....
