Samsung N130 10.1 inch Netbook (Atom N270 1.6GHz Processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, up to 6 Hour Battery Life , XP Home, Black)

I wanted a small netbook to carry when i do work out of office/home. I dont want anything fancy, just MS office (1 year free) and internet. And watch movies when I travel. The battery lasts 4-5 hours depending on what & how many programs you open, which is really good. If you need something like this, I would definitely recommend.

bought to replace an msi wind which was dropped, screen not so good but keyboard better. does what is required, ie browsing and e mail and internet radio via wifi

Just brilliant! It does everything my desktop does but faster and better.Obviously forget about playing dvd's but it's just a joy. Battery lasts easily 6hrs, you don't even hear it when it's on... Very happy with the product and very happy with amazon, we got the netbook 2 days after order it!!

This was an excellent purchase, it is better than i ever thought and puts my other laptops to shame even though so compact, and the battery life is really good!!

Since I purchased the Samsung N130 Black Netbook I have travelled to the USA with it with no problems this has been the best thing that I have purchased on Amazon it is great and just what I was looking for, price was very reasonable and well worth it.

When I bought this netbook I was actually looking for a flash memory backup device for photos and video while away on extended trips and holidays. Most of the products that seemed to do the job were £100 plus with the unit I liked closer to £150. I could not justify the cost for a single use device, but spending an additional £100 got me this netbook that does the flash memory backup perfectly and provides a way of charging my camara via USB. I since realised a higher capacity battery would be better hence the 4 stars. The built-in SD card reader also supports SDHC so I don't need to carry a card reader either. In addition it serves as a second PC at home for checking e-mail and of course a mobile PC. As with most of the affordable netbooks I considered the screen quality is adequate rather than great so I would not plan to use it for any lengthy tasks especially with my aging eyesight! I have had no issues with the wifi connection, which is as reliable as my company DELL M90. The keyboard is good and I found no issues with its reduced size.

Very light and small, would easily fit into most of my handbags! Admittedly most of my handbags are pretty big. Keyboard a good size therefor easy to use - just wish they'd put the right shift button in the usual place. I've lost count of the number of times I've written /b or /t instead of B or T! In general though I've been very happy with this purchase, especially the length of time I get on the battery without having to recharge.

have no problems what so ever with it, easy to set up and use, very fast very handy little netbook i love it, it comes everywhere with me.

If you are looking for superb netbook portability, usability and performance, this Samsung has it all. With a remarkably full-size keyboard, made possible by closer spaced keys, on a compact netbook with excellent connectivity, long battery life and rapid performance, it's brilliant. All packaged in the size of hardback book, I highly recommend the n130. My previous machine was a Samsung with a larger 12.1 inch screen, boosting its overall size and weight outside the benefits of netbook portability. This lighter netbook (half the weight) with a 10.1 inch screen is perfect.

ALTHOUGH I HAVE A FULL SIZE LAPTOP I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE I WANTED A LAPTOP THAT I COULD TAKE AWAY WITH ME .IT IS A NICE SMALL COMPACT LAPTOP WHICH OTHER THAN A CD DRIVE HAS EVERY THING I NEED . I USE IT MAINLY FOR ACESSING THE INTERNET .I USE AN 02 DONGLE WHICH SEEMS TO BE OK IN MOST PLACES I VISIT. THE KEYBOARD IS FULL SIZE WHICH IS GOOD TO.I CHOSE A SAMSUNG AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS ON IT AND ALL SEEMED TO BE GOOD
