Surprised. I am really surprised by the poor reviews many of your customers have given this album. I have always found MB20 great at their best but nevertheless a bit patchy - unlike the voice of Mr Thomas which is just superb. Well I have to say, I love this album which is a highly consistent piece of work with some outstanding melodies and novel arrangements. The quality maybe fades a bit towards the end but tracks like 'This Is How a Heart Breaks', 'I Am An Illusion, 'Something To Be' and 'Fallin' To Pieces' more than help to keep the show on the road. It's easy to listen too without being bland. It is intelligently written without being too heavy. The arrangements aren't clichéd but aren't overly challenging either. An all round good effort.

What a Shame.. As a massive MB20 fan, I was really looking forward to this. Anything by Rob Thomas had to be good I thought - I even have a track he sings backing vocals on with Willie Nelson. Wrong!
In my opinion only two of the tracks, This Is How A Heart Breaks and Ever The Same, come close to the standard of tracks on Matchbox albums. The good news is that there will be a new Matchbox20 album next year.

Bring back Matchbox!!!. I bought this album as a massive Matchbox 20 fan, and have to say it's like buying a robin reliant after driving a ferrari. Harsh maybe but it's just nowhere on par with the Matchbox 20 stuff. Rob has tried the Latino type sound and I think collaboring with Santana has had a major influence on this album. If you are a Matchbox 20 fan, I would recommend you buy albums by Goo Goo Dolls, Counting Crows or Vertical Horizon instead.

Brilliant Album by a fantastic singer. Something to be is a fantastic album, with a diverse beat to all the songs, making it enjoyable in all moods, with the Best Song being Ever the Same, absolutely fantastic.
