USB External Slim CDROM Drive

I bought this for my sons Dell Netbook and it worked a dream, I just connected it via the supplied USB cable and it was recognised and all up and running straight away. A brilliant piece of kit for the price.

This CD ROM drive is great. I used this to install Flight Simulator 2004 on my Win 7 netbook. NOTE - This Drive only reads music CDs & Computer game CDs. It doesn't write anything or it doesn't read DVDs.

i have been so disappointed and just put it aside and i am going to let it gather dust

An excellent product. Does exactly what it says. Was able to install Microsoft, Norton etc. straight onto my Dell Netbook without any problems. Simply plug and go.

This item is really slim. It sits next to my notebook well and it 'recognised' the product really quickly. It ran quietly and efficiently. I was concerned that it was the cheapest product of its kind (to the point where I kept all the packaging - just in case) and wondered wheter I should have gone for a mid priced item. All my concerns were unfounded when it was running. Excellent value - it done exactly what the description said it would.

Excellent product, cheap, ready for immediate use, delivered on time. Just what I wanted for a Samsung NC10.

this item was absolutely shocking for me, it installed fine, but the only disk that would work on it was the disk that came with it, i had it on a perfectly flat surface and tried several disks, im absolutely devistated

i ordered this cd player on the 12th of jan and received it on the 14th of jan , i bought it to load software and music on my dell mini 10v and it has not let me down , i have not found any music or software that doesnt load. very pleased with both delivery and price plus it installed instantly with no need for the extra usb power cable.

I purchased this to load software/cd's on to my wifes new Dell Netbook. Thought it was plug and play - it is not. It asks for the drivers on the CD but as the net book has no CD that is why this was purchased - Catch 22. I tried loading on other machines XP will not load, Vista will not load, Up loaded to Memory stick and tried on the netbook would not load. Checked the softare and it was written 2003 so is of no use. Still can sell it to a mug on Ebay!!!!

I should have paid more attention to others negative comments. Adter waiting voer a week, the thing did not work. Churning sounds werre not what I was expecting. The return as easy enough and the refund given, but I would seriously suggest spending a little more and getting a branded one, the LG replpacement is excellent
