Be aware. I bought this product because it is aimed at beginners and includes extensive tutorials. Just be aware if you have Adobe 8 on your computer and possibly other versions (this is a long-standing problem with this software as I learned afterwards from forums online complaining about the same thing), you will not have access to the tutorials. I have gone through the suggested support options on the Serif site and it has made no difference. I have also emailed them several times and there has been no reply. So if you need the tutorials like I do, avoid this product--you won't be able to access them and Serif customer support is non existent.

Great for beginners, without compromising on the style. I am starting a small business and was shocked by the quotes of about 2 grand I was getting just to design a simple five page website to lend my start up some credibility. In the end I thought sod it, I'll just teach myself and ended up getting webplus 10. I had a rough couple of days working my way through the manual, having never had any experience at doing anything like designing a website. However, by the end of the third day I had a professional looking flash graphic website up and running. The business emails began flooding in and now it looks like this business is a real goer, all thanks to this great little web design package. I still don't have a clue what HTML is or any of the other double dutch they use in web design language. With this software, you don't need to know anything like that. Its pretty simple to use and offers good looking templates that you can just re-jig and customise to your specification. Just put your mind to it for a few hours and I'm sure novices at this will be very satisfied with the results. I think my website looks better than some of the graphic design companies who gave me those initial quotes!

Money well spent. I've been running a website for about 5 years now, while I'm not a professional web author I think I know what its about. I've been using Dreamweaver, whilst its an older version than that available at the moment, its a professional application. I was becoming sick of the overheads that Dreamweaver imposes so decided to try Webplus 10, the specification seemed impressive but I was ready to be disappointed due to the small price tag.
What a surprise I got! The software is an excellent example of how an application should be written. Out of the box its intuitive and after reading some of the excellent User Manual and tutorials available on-line and on the CD's I was astounded.
The massive list of features are easy to access and understand. The first day I used it, I must have said to myself "This software is brilliant" at least 50 times! To do the save tasks using Dreamweaver would have taken weeks, if it could be done at all. Lots of simple things in Webplus I cannot find a way to do in Dreamweaver.
I had a new version of my website up and running over weekend. Uploading to my web host was a breeze, connected first time and setup for future incremental uploads, only uploading the files that have changed since the last time.
I had some Serif software a long time ago when they were trying to break into the market. This is a long way further on than that was. Much more professional, polished and integrated yet it remains easy to use.
If you are a beginner or an experienced web publisher then this software is for you.
I've given it 5 stars because it well exceeded my expectations. It's the best money I've spent in a long time.

Great piece of software. One thing Serif does well, is to produce quality software at a very good price, and WebPlus 10 is a prime example of this. Visual web site designers such WebPlus 10, are often targeted to those who may not have the experience, skill, or finances to buy or use more mainstream self professed professional products.
I found the interface and functionality very easy to get to grips with, and I was able to quickly publish my first web site.
As my experience developed further, I found that I was able to integrate more complex web methodologies which were not necessarily supported directly by WebPlus, adding my own developments using PHP, JavaScript, and implementing AJAX methodologies.
Web design and implementation using WebPlus can be as simple or as complex as the user wishes it to be, just have a look around the web, there are many examples of web sites which have been produced by professional web design companies, and in my opinion many of then could easily have been produced using WebPlus, at a fraction of the cost and in a shorter timeframe.
As an ITC professional, I work in an environment where time is often in short supply, and money is the main driver. Not everybody can be experts in the wide range technologies used to create up to date, dynamic web sites.
Don't let anyone tell you that this software package is entry level, it's ease of use and it's modest pricing hides how good this product actually is.
Have look at the specifications yourself, and make your own mind up. For the price you can't find a better alternative. Serif will be releasing WebPlus X2 quite soon, and because Serif offer such a great upgrade path, I will automatically buy this on the back of my positive experiences with WebPlus 10.
I only give this review 4 from 5 due to 2 reasons, there is always room for improvement in any software package, and I expect that the imminent release of WebPlus X2 will take the throne in this category. Look for offers and buy it if you have the opportunity.

Great for beginner web designers.. This software is great for beginner web site designers, very easy to use this is a what you see is what you get editor and the coding produced is very good.
As long as you have a ftp account on your server / hosts server this programme will arrange, upload and update you files on your server (public_html) automatically.
Serif web resources will maintain blogs, counters, news articles etc for you negating the need for such server side applications.
The gui is very good and the program does most of the work for you.
This programme makes it very easy to create a simple web site and has the functionalty for experienced wysiwyg users to create some pretty flash websites.
Very reasonably priced, I would definatly reccommend giving this a try.
Only a 4 star as its obviously not as good as its much harder to use rivals, but alot easier to use and with a few functions others had not thought of.
