Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board (Wii)

basically everything was written.... i can only say that i also find this item brilliant, as well my husband and 8 years old daughter. we all have a lot of fun using it. definitely worth buying.

I'd tried this out over Christmas while visiting family and then couldn't wait to get my own Wii console, Wii Fit and balance board. It has so much to explore that I'm still trying the various exercises and activities. As an older person who's never been good at sport due mainly to lack of co-ordination, this is an ideal way to improve in the privacy of my own home where it doesn't matter how many times I have to re-try things to get the hang of them, helped along by the built-in advice and encouragement. Because it's interactive and I can record my progress there's always the incentive I need to get back to it whenever I can, but I can choose not to record my results if it's something I haven't done before or know I'm hopeless at!

A really fun way to get fit for all the family without leaving your own home. Even my 74 year old father is able to join in with the exercises.You can feel the difference after only a couple of weeks and my backache has improved greatly. I've used wii fit nearly every day for a month, since I've had it. Coupled with other exercise and smaller portions of healthy food, its helping me lose weight and get fit. Its not easy to do this, and the wii fit has given me the encouragement to exercise every day at home, which otherwise I would not have time for, or I'd run out of ideas. If you get bored there are ways to mix up the exercises, or take a day to work on a different aspect of fitness, like balance or memory. The whole family can join in with the games and its fun for all ages.

I'd been looking around everywhere for the Fit Plus and Board, but couldn't find it in stock, anywhere! After finally getting one, i instantly realized it was well worth it! I'm not much for exercising, however this can suddenly change and surprisingly, you find yourself up off the couch, having tons of fun working out! All because of the Wii Fit! You don't have to be worried about going to the Gym feeling uncomfortable working out around others, as this is a brilliant way to get fit, and in your own home too! Admittedly you aren't using the Gym like equipment, but this i'm sure, could burn off calories as successfully. What i like about the actual board itself, is that it accurately keeps track of your record as you exercise on it - your weight, the day you're on, and even testings of your balance etc. Thankfully you won't need to keep going through this each time you use Fit Plus, however it is a useful feature for occasionally checking on your progress. I'm starting to use the Wii Fit as part of my daily routine of exercise. It's great for those that don't like to go out and keep fit, as you'll probably be getting yourself to regularly use the board, and keep your fitness up this way. I'm especially hooked onto the yoga/Aerobic and jogging exercises. Not only must it help to burn off those calories and become flexible, but it's also a good way of distracting yourself away from stressful problems. So, whether you're wanting to strengthen your muscles, lose weight, or become more flexible - this is definitely the product!

I initially purchased this item as a fitness aid however I've found it quite disappointing. It is good for the balance games but i definitely would not say that it is good as an intensive workout. That being said my nieces love the balance games on it so it's useful if thats what you are purchasing it for.

I've never been into exercise as a whole but with the Wii Fit i can get fit in the comfort of my own home. I love it, play it everyday and also a good feature which is running or steps when you watch your fav tv programmes :) Its just amazing!

Great way to get a couch potato a bit more active. Loads of different activities / games available - should be something for everyone.

Having purchased the Nintendo Wii I've found it very entertaining for general family use and for personal moments with my partner. I would highly recommend this product, as it gives a very balanced and soft enjoyable approach to gaming for those who are not heavily into computer games. A very good tool to assist you for bonding with your partner, girlfriend, wife or children. The product was delivered in good time and well packaged for protection, the only thing i could mention to anyone who wishes to purchase this product. Also invest in the rechargeable battery pack for the balance board, rather than wasting money on normal batteries. Overall a very good product.

Waited six weeks for delivery since Christmas - but I now understand why they are in short supply. A great piece of kit for home keep fit!
